| The DVD-RAM disks were used weekly to copy ADI data off the IBM system, to copy 5498 tax information, and used for full system backups. The DVD-RAM disks are no longer available so we’re replacing them with RDX cartridges. IBM Model S914 If your bank is using the IBM S914 server, an RDX carrier is already built into the server. You only need to order the RDX cartridges. IBM Model S814 If your bank is using the IBM S814 server, you’ll need to order an external carrier plus a minimum of two RDX cartridges. The external RDX carrier will connect to the IBM S814 via a USB port. The RDX cartridges can be used for daily backups and full system backups. We strongly recommend 18 RDX cartridges for all your IBM backup needs. Also, the script for writing ADI to RDX cartridge media was included with your 2021 year-end release.
